Hi, I'm Eppie.
Freelance copywriter and digital marketer based in the big city.
When I'm not spilling thoughts into my travel blog, I help brands like you become the next big thing through airtight copy and visual direction.
Since 2014, I’ve helped businesses big and small go from zero to hero. From tripling blog views to bringing in 300% more enquiries, I know how to create content that brings home the big bucks.
Aside from being a content queen, I love nothing more than curling up with a book, collecting handmade pottery and talking to my tomato plants.
I love storytelling, so here’s mine…
I’ve been obsessed with words since I could read, age two.
Don’t believe me? Take it up with my Mumma. Before that I faked it until I made it, telling my own version of how Snow White came to meet the Seven Dwarves with conviction. This evolved into weekly trips to the library, devouring Harry Potter by torchlight and obsessing over famous female readers including the magical Matilda (from whom my little black cat gets her name).
The teenage years saw made up magazines, plenty of dramatic diary entries and the start of an online bucket list blog. Whilst studying for my degree, I soon realised that I couldn’t get enough of academic assignments and so pursued a creative job where I could write about events rather than deliver them.
In 2014 this meant business. After planting my freelance roots as an events assistant, proposal writer and social media manager, I settled in an agency and grew my creative portfolio. From Samsung to Sainsbury’s, I worked with some of the biggest names in the biz, gaining a reputation for being savvy with SEO and somewhat of a marketing buff. My way with words and eye for design ballooned the agency’s digital presence, tripling their website traffic and gaining them the title of Global Events Agency of the Year.
Two years later, Eppie.me.uk was born. With the freedom to write simply for me, I unleashed my inner travel writer and told over 100 stories of my adventures including that one time I got stuck in a car with a 6-foot avocado. Readers came a-knocking and although I never took home the trophy, I was delighted to be nominated for Best New Blogger, Top Travel Blogger and be recognised as one of the top lifestyle bloggers in London.
Over the next few years I produced content for various brands and their audiences, delivering articles, social media campaigns and long-form content for the likes of Jet2holidays, Go City, Cadbury, Rekorderlig Cider and many more.
And so here we are.
Now I love nothing better than helping ambitious business owners and marketers boss their digital presence.
