I’ve been obsessed with words since I could read, age two. Don’t believe me? Take it up with my Mumma.

Before that I faked it until I made it, telling my own version of how Snow White came to meet the Seven Dwarves with conviction. This evolved into weekly trips to the library, devouring Harry Potter by torchlight and obsessing over famous female readers including the magical Matilda (from whom my little black cat gets her name).

The teenage years saw made up magazines, plenty of dramatic diary entries and the start of an online bucket list.

Whilst studying for my degree, I soon realised that I couldn’t get enough of academic assignments and so pursued a creative job where I could write about events rather than deliver them.

In 2014 this meant business. After planting my freelance roots as a proposal writer and social media manager, I settled into an agency and grew my creative portfolio.

From Samsung to Sainsbury’s, I worked with some of the biggest names in the biz, gaining a reputation for being savvy with SEO. My way with words and eye for design ballooned the agency’s digital presence, tripling their website traffic and gaining them the title of Global Events Agency of the Year.

Two years later, my travel blog, Travel Between The Lines was born. With the freedom to write simply for me, I unleashed my inner travel writer and told over 100 stories of my adventures including that one time I got stuck in a car with a 6-foot avocado.

Readers came a-knocking and although I never took home the trophy, I was delighted to be nominated for various awards and be recognised as one of the top lifestyle bloggers in London.

Over the next few years I produced traffic-driving content for tons of top brands including Jet2holidays, Go City and Rekorderlig Cider. It went so well that I became a full-time freelancer where I found the star-jumping joy of getting women's health startups, sustainable businesses and brands that do good to the top of Google.

And so here we are. Now I love nothing better than helping ambitious business owners just like you to boss their digital presence.
